Respond to this blog by posting an answer to the prompt, "Describe the progress you have made using the Web 2.0 tool you selected to demonstrate your understanding of Homer's Odyssey."
Hi my name is Salvador Hernandez. I would like to answer this question to my best ability. The progress that i have made in using the Web 2.0 is going quite well. I am now just learning how to use Cameo. I will be making a magazine to describe Odysseus's adventures. My answers are 6*2+7-1-1=17 and 6*7-7-2-1=32
I honestly haven't learned anything from doing my project so far, technology wise. I took web design last year and I was taught how to do anything I would need for Publisher. I am however learning more and more about the Odyssey as I continue working on my magazine.
The progress I have made using the web 2.0 tool to demonstrate my understanding of Homer's Odyssey is that I know now some of the content that was confusing for me.
1,2,6,and 7 equal 17. Do the same for 32. (6)(2)-(7)(1)=17 (6+7)+19=32 I am doing jepordy. Choosing jepordy has made me focus on three categories and that the questions help identify those categories
The progress I have made using the Educational Tour is that it has begun to help me better understand the geographic layout of ancient Greece. It has also helped me understand the places he has visited in chronological order.
Davinia I used 6x2+7-1-1=17. Then I used 6x7+7-1-1=32.
To help me understand web 2.0 I used Openoffice Draw. I used this to create a cd soundtrack case. I don't understand it that much, but I will soon enough.
Jordan Delgado To demonstrate my understanding of the story I am creating a cd cover and I will use Open Office Draw to the best of my ability. I used 6 x 2 + 7 - 1 - 1 =17. Then I used 6 x 7 + 7 - 1 - 1 =32
I have messed around with my technology somewhat, but not as much as I need to. I need to practice with it a little bit more to accomplish what I need to do.
I'm Kevin Miller. I haven't been able to use web 2.0 tools due to my absence this past week, but my answers to the questions are 2(6-1)+7=17 and (6-2)*(7+1)=32
The progress Ive made is searching songs that relate to the places made on Odysseus's journey. I've only found a few songs that i think relate enough to be put on my album. I will be making the cover in photo shop. I haven't began doing this yet.
Ellena Doran My job for my group is creating a cd cover. I really have not done it before but there is a first time for everything. It might be pretty fun 6(2)+7-1-1=17 6(7)-7-2-1=32
Honestly, I haven't made any progress using web 2.0 tools for learning because I haven't really learned much through this. I used Open Office instead to help me understand.
Emily Humphrey; For the first problem I made the equation: 6+7+2+1(2)= 17 For my second equation for the first problem I used: 6+7+7+7+2+2+1=32
For my project I am doing a music record CD, with music lyrics, of Odyssey and a cover. Right now I am fiddling with the ideas in my head to so where I should go with my theme of music and the voice of the music. Should it be classical? Or modern? I will choose.
I was confused at first, after seeing the answers I was shocked that I ddin't get my answers sooner, cause they were so obvious. I didn't think to connect numbers together.
So far, I have developed some skills using Google Sketchup but I still have a lot more to learn from it. Continuing learning how to use it and getting my part of the project done is my goal.
I have to create a magazine cover and a story about Odysseus and Penelope. This is going to be somewhat challenging for me because my magazine genre is Gossip, so I am going to make a gossip story about Penelope and her suitors.
My name is christian arocho. My project is the American version of the oddesy. i will be in charge of doing the Google sketch up. i will be making a structure from our story in an american way and in a Greek way. [(6*7)/2]+1
Hi my name is Sha'Quan Little. At first i didn't understand what i had to do for the Google Earth map but after coming to Hi Def Friday i got the understanding and now I'm still looking up where the characters was when they were introduced in the story. The First one is 7-1*6-2= 34. The second one is 7+1*2+6= 22
Ron Edwards For my project I'm doing the movie mockup. This is probably gonna be hard because I never made on before, but I know my story and the Oddysey, so it should be okay.
Brittany Akers 34=[(7-1)x6]-2 22=[(7-1)x2]+6 [(6x7/2]+1 I am working on the Educational Tour. I kinda sorta understand this project. I have started but have to complete it. Also I need to understand the Odyssey a little bit better.
I have not made much progress, because I have never seen or played the game. I also don't even know where to start or what questions to put. It is just one big mess.
I have to make the magazine on odessyus and penelope, using different characters to play the role. The magazine have to be 5 to 6 pages or more for extra credit. 7-1*6-2= 34 and 7+1*2+6= 22.
i am okay as in length weise in my project. i have an idea and a rough dradt on how i want to design my fromt couver && i am starting on my article today.
I have to create a map of where the odyssus travels. This is going to be alittle difficult because i don't really don't know how to work google earth. So like I really don't know how to make the map of the adventures.
